So, last week I also did a days training with Topspin. Their system is pretty straighforward and as the one we developed at Domino for D2C did a lot of similar stuff, I found it quite easy to get a handle on. What really interested me about the day was the planning aspect. We were provided with some really detailed and useful forecasting tools as well as their version of the profit calculator we used at Domino. Also, we were provided with templates for planning the lifecycle of a campaign and nudged gently towards the use of Visio. I'm really looking forward to sitting down with the projects I'm working on with these tools to give them some proper structure and definition.
Oh and it was at the top of Centre Point and there were sandwiches. Important details..
